Each year the Prince Edward Island Branch awards the CBA Daphne Dumont Scholarship to a full time law student enrolled at an accredited university law school.
ELIGIBILITY
- Candidates must be CBA members as of July 31.
- The award is open to residents of Prince Edward Island.
- Candidates must be enrolled as full time law students at an accredited university law school for the upcoming academic year
CRITERIA
- Candidates must have demonstrated scholastic achievement in the previous year of study.
- Candidates must have demonstrated commitment to and be an active volunteer in his or her community.
NOMINATION PROCEDURE
The applicant must submit the following documentation for consideration:
- Completed application form
- Official written confirmation of enrolment in an accredited law school from the Admissions Office or the Office of the Registrar of the accredited law school
- Official transcript of marks for the previous year of study
- Curriculum vitae
- Proof of CBA membership as of July 31
